The System

At euroSKIES, realism and flexibility go hand in hand.

Realistic Schedule

Our flight schedule is based on realistic airline logic.

We avoid:

  • random route generation
  • artificial expansion

Instead we focus on:

  • plausible rotations
  • fleet consistency
  • evolving route networks

Explore our network and discover structured realism.

OCC – Operator Conversion Course

Learn how euroSKIES operates – at your own pace.

The Operator Conversion Course (OCC) is our optional introduction to real-world inspired operations at euroSKIES.
It’s designed for pilots who want more than just flying from A to B – and want to understand the why behind it.

You decide how deep you go.

What you’ll learn

Go-Around procedures and decision making in real operations

Airport categorization and operational complexity

Cost index and realistic flight planning basics

Crosswind techniques for challenging conditions

Why it matters

The OCC is not a requirement – it’s an opportunity.
It helps you connect with the operational mindset behind euroSKIES, while keeping full flexibility in how you fly.

Your choice

Fly casually – or fly with deeper understanding.
The OCC adapts to your level, not the other way around.

Frequently Asked Questions

How realistic is euroSKIES?

We combine real-world inspired operations with full flexibility. You decide your depth.

Do I have to follow a schedule?

No. You can always fly freely. For activity and progression, we focus on flights within our official schedule and events.

Do I need experience?

No. Beginners and experienced simmers are welcome.

What is OCC?

An optional training program covering real-world aviation basics.

How do flights work?

Plan via SimBrief, fly via ACARS – fully automated tracking.

Which simulators are supported?

MSFS and X-Plane (with expanding aircraft support).

Is there a required activity level or risk of removal?

Yes – To remain active, pilots must complete at least one flight per quarter using:

  • official schedule routes, or
  • approved community events

How it works:
The year is divided into four quarters:

Q1: Jan–Mar
Q2: Apr–Jun
Q3: Jul–Sep (exempt)
Q4: Oct–Dec

Inactive accounts may be removed after extended inactivity according to our official rules.

What happens if you’re inactive?

  • If no activity is recorded during a period, your account will initially be marked as inactive.
  • Three months after inactivity begins, your account will be deleted—unless you contact us beforehand.
  • Newly registered accounts will also be deleted if no flights are completed within three months.
